6 Tips to Keep Your Skin Glowing Throughout Winter

Winter has well and truly arrived! For most of us, this means our skin may become dry or have a duller appearance. This doesn’t have to be the case, we have compiled our 6 simple tips to help keep your skin soft and glowing this winter;

  1. Shower or Bath with Lukewarm Water: It’s tempting to turn up the heat, we get it! However, your skin will benefit from you using lukewarm water as it will avoid stripping many oils away from your skin, therefore helping to keep it soft and supple.

  2. Moisturise: Don’t forget to moisturise! Our skin tends to become dry in the cold winter air, so it’s important to keep it hydrated. We recommend applying moisturiser after bathing while your skin is damp, to seal in the hydration.

  3. Protect Your Skin: Remember even though its winter the sun can still have an effect on your skin, so make sure you still apply sunscreen to exposed areas.

  4. Stay Hydrated: During the colder months we tend to drink less water and turn to warmer drinks like tea or hot chocolate. But don’t forget your skin needs hydration both from within and externally, so make sure you drink enough water.

  5. Exfoliate: Using an exfoliator on your face, lips and hands will take off the dead skin cells allowing moisture to get in to the skin. Remember to moisturise straight after exfoliating.
